After two years in television promotion and production and six years in radio advertising sales, Chris and two partners opened Advertir, Inc. in 1978. Chris served as Vice President of Sales and then in 1985 became sole owner and President/CEO of the agency.
Chris is recognized by his peers as an expert in the marketing and advertising community. He is well known for his careful planning and effective utilization of clients' budgets based on their specific business needs. Chris credits his success to the unique combination of his years of study from Louisiana State University with over 30 years in television and radio promotion and production, media sales, major event production and agency experience.
Chris is also a certified facilitator with Priority Management Systems, Inc., a world leader in individual and organizational development. Chris recognizes the critical importance of communications and skill-set training not only within his company but with his clients and other business organizations.

Angelina Juarez is a seasoned marketing manager who has returned to the Rio Grande Valley to provide Advertir and its clients with her extensive experience in customer relations and production operations. Angelina has served intricate roles in both the advertising agency and print production industries.
As an Account Manager for Advertir, Angelina brings forth a strong foundation to help produce powerful results for the clients Advertir serves. She specializes in Direct Marketing with a focus in direct mail. In her previous experience, she has managed direct mail projects for some national notable accounts, such as the U. S. Army, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Experian, Paralyzed Veterans of America, Fisher Investments, American Diabetes Association, American Red Cross, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Betts Creative, Inc. is an independent creative service located in Dallas, Texas. Accounts handled by Sam Betts through his company and through his employment with Cranford/Johnson/Hunt & Associates, Tracy/Locke/BBDO, and Grey Advertising include: Frito-Lay, Borden, La Quinta Motor Inns, Pepsi, Dillard's, Pizza Inn, Dickies Work Clothes, The Margaret Thatcher Foundation, Delta, Pulan Chain Saws, Lennox, The Wall Street Journal, Hilton, Irving Texas Convention & Visitors Center, Old Milwaukee Beer, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Jacuzzi, Frontier Airlines, Heinz, Old El Paso, Mexican Foods, Revlon, Celenese, etc. Betts has been creative director for Advertir's major clients for over 10 years.
Willard B. Moon
Advertising & Marketing Consultant
With more than 35 years of advertising agency experience, Willard Moon has handled a variety of accounts on local, regional, national and international levels. Moon's agency career began at Glenn Advertising in Monterrey, Mexico where he served as account executive for Cerveceria Cuauhtemoc, brewers of Bohemia, Carta Blanca, Tecate and several other brands of beer. He was responsible for all brewery advertising throughout Mexico, the United States and Central America. In 1968, Moon joined Tracy-Locke, Inc. of Dallas in charge of the Standard Fruit (later to become Dole) and Pearl Beer accounts. In 1972, as vice president of Tracy-Locke, Moon opened and managed the San Francisco branch of the agency. Prior to his retirement, Moon was President of Point Communications, Inc. of Dallas where he had worked for many years handling such important regional accounts as Domino's Pizza. As an advertising and marketing consultant, Moon provides invaluable assistance to Advertir and its clients.

Jim Lipscomb
Media Strategist

One of the founders of Advertir, Jim Lipscomb rejoined the agency in 2000. Originally vice president of marketing, Jim has returned to head the agency's media department. In his new position, he is responsible for developing highly efficient and effective media strategies for the agency's clients. Jim's career in advertising, marketing and related fields spans more than three decades in the Rio Grande Valley. His diverse resume includes experience as a newspaper reporter, professional photographer, print production manager and successful graphic designer and business owner. Immediately prior to rejoining Advertir, Jim served as marketing director for Outdoor Destinations Worldwide, the world's largest wingshooting outfitter with hunting operations from Mexico to South Africa. Jim's graphic design firm, Barton Springs Graphic Design, provides professional design and prepress services for a wide variety of clients on a local, regional and national basis.
